Our Bookkeeping Process & Onboarding

  • 1. Free Consultation

We’ll kick things off with a no-obligation discovery call where we’ll discuss your business, financial goals, and how our services can help you achieve them. This is an opportunity to get to know each other and determine if we’re the right match.

  • 2. Onboarding & Assessment

Once we decide to move forward, the onboarding process begins. I’ll perform a detailed review of your current financials and assess your books for accuracy and organization. To do this, you’ll securely upload your necessary documents—such as bank statements, credit card statements, invoices, and any relevant reports—through a cloud system like Dropbox or Google Drive. These shared folders will serve as our central hub for ongoing document exchange, ensuring your sensitive information is always protected. Any required cleanup will be billed at $50/hour, but only after we’ve both agreed on an engagement letter.

  • 3. Setup & Transition

If cleanup is needed, I’ll get your books in order, correcting any discrepancies and categorizing transactions properly. Afterward, I’ll set up or transition your bookkeeping system (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) for seamless ongoing management. You’ll be able to continue sharing documents easily through our secure Dropbox or Drive system, keeping the process smooth and efficient.

  • 4. Ongoing Bookkeeping

With your books up to date and in order, I’ll take over the ongoing bookkeeping duties. This includes monthly reconciliations, AP/AR management, and generating financial reports. You’ll continue to share any new financial documents through our cloud-based folder, ensuring real-time updates and accuracy. Each month, I’ll provide you with clear, actionable financial reports that give you insights into your business’s financial health.

By the end of this process, you’ll have organized, up-to-date books and a reliable bookkeeping partner who’s here to help your business thrive.
